1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 when you book to attend a viewing of one of our properties, either via our Agents or
directly, when making an enquiry to Nationcrest by telephone or email or otherwise,
1.2 when you are considering an investment in Nationcrest or
1.3 when you apply to work for Nationcrest.
Please note that if you send us your CV, you may be asked to provide certain
additional sensitive personal data (please see paragraph ‘Sensitive Personal Data’).
2. SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA
When you apply for one of our jobs you will need to register with Nationcrest and submit an
application. The Data Protection Act gives special protection to certain types of sensitive
information (which includes ‘sensitive personal data’ as defined by the Data Protection Act).
Sensitive information can include data about your race or ethnic origin, political opinions,
religious or other similar beliefs, Trade Union membership, physical or mental health, sexual
orientation or criminal record. You should only provide this information if it is required in
response to a mandatory question on our application form, or if you are otherwise content for
us to process this information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. Where you
do provide sensitive information, this will be accepted as explicit consent to Nationcrest to
use that information in connection with the purpose for which it has been provided.
3. USE OF INFORMATION AND OPT-OUT
Information is used only for the specific purpose for which it was provided.
You can opt-out of receiving information from Nationcrest or request that your personal
details are deleted from our systems at any time by emailing homes@nationcrest.co.uk or by
telephoning 01753 888369 and asking for the Data Compliance Officer.
4. UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
You may request that your personal information is corrected, amended or updated at any

the Data Compliance Officer.
5. PROVISION OF INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
Information is normally only provided to a third party if it is required to deal with your enquiry
but there may be other circumstances where Nationcrest is required to provide information
as a result of legal or regulatory processes.
Nationcrest does not undertake marketing activities for third parties, nor does it provide
information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. RETENTION OF INFORMATION
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, your personal information is only kept for as long
as is necessary to fulfil your request or deal with your job application.
Where you have consented to additional information being provided to Nationcrest, your
details will be retained for a reasonable length of time.
7. PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION
Once we have received your information, we will ensure that the collection and use of your
information is in accordance with the Data Protection Act. All personnel of Nationcrest are
required to keep personal information confidential and only authorised persons have access
to such information.
